Typically, as a fostering culture of innovation latent in its DNA, ADDtech could not miss the opportunity to take part in, among the fifteen selected southeastern companies, the major national incentive movement for Professionalization of Innovation by Softex.
Named as Striking IT – Business Training Program for Innovation Strategy Development aims to boost the development and implementation of continuous innovation strategy in the Brazilian software manufacturers and IT service-rendering companies (BSSC).
In order to achieve such goal, the initiative counted on the partnership of Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI) and Brazilian Agency for Promotion of Exports and Investments (BAPEI). Softex planned an 80-hour training course plus a 30-hour business-oriented approach course to be finished in December, 2014.
Out of the 45 national companies, nine were selected for the international phase including business orientation, visits to companies and institutions in Silicon Valley, San Francisco, and invitations to attend Gartner Symposium / ITXpo 2014, regarded the most important annual meeting of Chief Information Officers (CIOs) and the leading world IT industry. Back in Brazil, the focus on business coaching to refine the developed strategy and prepare its implementation.
Diônes Lima, Innovation and Entrepreneurship manager at Softex, highlights that “the program will allow the participants to design an innovation strategy in their companies besides enabling the use of tools for fostering ideas, bearing out assumptions, prioritizing opportunities and networking, and assisting with the working up of an innovative business plan so as to attract capital.
